Part of my ongoing Double Exposure Series, Within Her Shadow explores the quiet bond between two feline forms, layered with flowing botanical elements and delicate floral details. The smaller cat emerges from within the larger silhouette, creating a composition that speaks to connection, protection, memory, and belonging.
This is an original artwork, created on Kamakou 280gsm paper in a 10 x 8 inch format. The piece begins with an ink base layer and is meticulously developed with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils, allowing for rich detail, subtle textures, and luminous colour throughout.
Each artwork is individually signed by the artist.
