The Toadstool Keeper
A little departure from my usual animal subjects, The Toadstool Keeper steps into the woodland folklore that has always been lurking around the edges of my work.
Part man, part tree and very much at home amongst the mushrooms, roots and undergrowth, this curious woodland character looks as though he has been quietly keeping watch over the forest floor for considerably longer than any of us have.
An original hand-drawn illustration, created with archival inks on 300gsm watercolour paper. Full of intricate details and tiny woodland discoveries, it is a piece that rewards a closer look.

"I am the proud owner of a beautiful whale print of Dominics and it's surely not my last piece of art from him. It arrived very quickly, following great communication. It was well packaged and was even more stunning in real life than in the photo. Fantastic quality paper and print! I love looking at it  every day. Can't wait to pick my next piece!"
