The Foul-Tempered Monarch

The Foul-Tempered Monarch

The Queen of Hearts is a fictional character from the 1865 book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll. She is a childish, foul-tempered monarch whom Carroll himself describes as "a blind fury", and who is quick to give death sentences at the slightest offense.

Taking inspiration from the original Tenniel illustrations, and, adding Dominic’s own vision to the character, brings a recognisable protagonist up to date and sits perfectly with other works in this series.

Offered as A4 fine Art giclee prints on a 265gsm oyster finish paper. Each print signed.
