Inverted Spirit
Inverted Spirit
Part of the ongoing Double Exposure Series, Inverted Spirit explores the quiet tension between absence and presence through an inverted silhouette composition. A leaping hare emerges not from the figure itself, but from the space surrounding it — reversing the expected relationship between subject and background. The empty form becomes as important as the life around it, creating a subtle visual twist that invites the viewer to look twice.
Delicate florals, warm light, and flowing grasses frame the movement of the hare, giving the piece a dreamlike balance of softness and energy. The inverted approach transforms negative space into a living presence, suggesting spirit, motion, and memory existing just beyond the visible edge.
